The Studio Gallery was founded in 2005 by Ariel Uniss Parker & Heather Allen. Opening on Halloween Day 2005 inside the Lynchburg Community Market at Booth's 31&32, the location suited them well for two years. When the Market renovations commenced, they moved around a few times and have found a new home in a permanent shop with the newly renovated Historic Lynchburg Community Market.

The Studio Gallery is now going strong and in it's third year, now proudly offers more of Lynchburg's regional artists work. From Outsider and Primitive Arts, to Folk and Avante Garde, All Handmade All the Time, is Ariel's favorite quote, and she is pleased and mostly proud to offer Lynchburg a glimpse of it's own hidden talents.

Ariel Uniss Parker, is a native of Lynchburg, VA. Raised in Santo Domingo, she moved home in 1986 and finished her education. She went on to complete her BFA in Metals & Jewelery, as well as an AA in Photographic Studies from Central Virginia Community College. Heather Allen, also a native of Lynchburg, VA, is a skilled Chain Maille and Leather Artisan, she loves commissions, and usually hides out in the back concentrating on "knitting"!
